About Me Elderly
Comments about Long Reach Comfort Wipe:
my husband took one look at it went to the store and bought sponges and a mesh bag. he cut sponges into about two by 4 inch pieces. so when i place toilet paper around wand then use sponge as a shim to hold paper in place. then when i am thru i place the sponge into the mesh bag to be washed. so far i have not made any kind of a mess onto the sponges at all. the sponges stay totally clean because they are on the unused side so to say. so far i have not had one to fall into the toilet either. so far so good!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A 'GADGET' WHICH REALLY WORKS

About Me Arthritic, Elderly, Obese, Poorly-operating Shoulder
I'm obese, and was already having trouble reaching to use toilet paper properly. Then, prior to breast-surgery a nurse suggested I buy a long-reacher because I might experience post-operative pain when trying to reach behind myself. This product works SO well, that I use it always now.

Ordering 2nd time
By Breast Cancer Survivor
Works best with personal wet wipes that are flushable. Paper doesn't release as well.Ordering 2 more for other members of my family. Would like if it would fold for travel.

A WASTE OF MONEY

About Me Average Health
The 'hold and release' design is horrible. It DOES NOT WORK as the directions claim it will. It DOES NOT RELEASE the paper.
Times the paper was released after use - ZERO out of TEN! Unless you count the time it released it before the paper was used! The design for holding the paper in place and then releasing it is a joke. Don't waste your money.

Whoever thought this up was a genious! I recently had hand surgery and not being ambidextrous this really came in handy. Allowed me to remain independent for that awful "clean up" problem. Follow the directions and it works great. I even recommended it to my neorosurgeon for his other patients who might experience the same difficulties and where to get it.
