Foldable, makes it handy to keep in shower.

Greatest feature is the fact that it folds and can be kept handy. It is also quite sturdy.

This is just too short for shower use. Possibly do-able for bathtub use only where faucet & knobs are low and reachable. Not effective for a shower stall or someone wanting to sit in a tub, but use a standing shower head faucet or handheld. Cannot reach shower head or a hand held at this height. Needs to adjust higher to be effective. Also, unfolds weird, almost backwards to what is most common and average norm. Elderly, disabled, feeble-minded, alzheimer patients might have a real difficult time 'figuring' it out if on own, due to this uncommon non-typical unfolding action required to open it up & unfold for use, possibly causing strain, frustration, fatigue or even fall. Like another commentor noted, it does slip while folded up in shower sometimes. Have to lean it just right and even then it does slip here n there, especially if touched, nudged or bumped. The seat is kinda weird too, it's shaped funny, like a 'U' or sides are higher than middle, which may be ok to some; but personally I did not find it very comfortable at all and was hard on my hips & back. They call it contoured but I don't see the benefit, because it's too uncomfortable. Also, box arrived heavily damaged with a gaping hole in it and should've been returned to company or stopped at the company before ever reaching my doorstep. Nonetheless, it was left, so I opened and I tried it out. I will be returning if MK is decent enough to send shipping label & cover cost of r/t shipping for poor product & hassle. Won't hold my breath, recently, the CS has drastically went down the tube here & really declined in decency, common courtesy, respect & common sense. Seems they are more about profit than quality customer service & making things right. They are into making procedures more difficult than need be with codes & rules of using them where & when & pricing differences between catalogs & online. Very rude customer service representatives last few times I've had to call. I mean downright RUDE! I wouldn't speak to an enemy the way this one female CS rep spoke to me. She outright called me a liar and told me loudly like she was from the ghetto or cell block A, "NO! NO! NO! YOU WERE NOT TOLD THAT!!" (Didn't know their reps were GOD or psychics, all knowing & seeing!) ...rude, unintelligent, ill-trained, mad at the world, hate their job, sad & pathetic employees is sadly what you get today! Miss the old Miles Kimball from back in the day...

Now that I'm older & having multiple health issues, I needed something to make showering easier. This product dis a god send & would recommend to anyone needing this type of assist.
It won't stand up in shower when folded

I can't use it in shower that I wanted it for because it won't stay up when folded. It needs non slide stops on bottom of legs. Very disappointed when it came crashing down scared the heck out of me!! Thinking of sending back.

finally found one!

I have looked all over for a folding seat. I can't bend to get my laundry out of the dryer and do not have too much room for a standard stool. This will be perfect!
I really like the folding Bath Stool.
The Folding Stool for the Shower does not take up much space in the Shower, like the nonfolding ones.
