Are these pieces solid resin?

what are the specific character that you can get? it shows there its more than 9 characters.

The stable with Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, an angel and a sheep is all one piece. The other 8 pieces are all individual pieces.

Can you remove the figures in the manger?

No the figures in the manger are not removable. But the set is adorable.

Can one remove Jesus, Mary, and Joseph from the manger? What about Jesus from his crib?

The answer to all those questions is no. The Nativity is very nice though and my granddaughters enjoy seeing it and moving the rest of the pieces around. They are 2 and 3.
