So far so good!!

About Me Casual Do-It-Yourselfer
Comments about Identity Protection Stamp:
So far so good. Used several times in one day w/no issues. It covered fully about 95-97% of the time. It served its purpose for me. Installing ink pad was super easy. Provided pictures & instructions on how to do it. Have not needed to replace it or remove the ink pad yet but it's probably the exact opposite action of putting it in. It's worth it to have & deter ID theft in today's world of career criminal mentality. Once you've been robbed by id theft from someone on the opposite side of the world w/out losing your card or anyone ever having access to it; (which I have), you learn real quick you can never be too careful & diligent! I assure you. It was a nightmare getting it all sorted & being international charges took over a month to get my money back. Not including all the hassle & bs & work it took resolving it & securing all my other accounts b/c everything has to be changed, closed & every account name, username, PW & security question of any site you have online also has to be changed and fraud alerts placed on your accounts & w/credit bureaus, make police reports, etc. It's a nightmare. Get this & shred everything, including your mailings w/only your name & address on it. EVERYTHING!

I like the way the product covered important information so that prying eyes are kept at bay.

Great when it works
from Nottingham, MD
If you have multiple items to stamp, it will start to leave the center open, causing a large portion of the address still visible. If you wait a while, it will then provide full coverage again. I do like having everything covered with one stamp

Identity protection must have

from Auburn, ME
I use this to block out all personal I formation before throwing anything away. The best thing I've ever had that does the job completely.

It is so disappointing that some stamps do not cover everything. I often have to stamp my information twice to remove it from sight.

About Me Professional
I have been using a black out stamp for a while. This one also has a refill pad. Which means I don't have to buy a new stamp every time. I can just buy refills. Much easier. Everyone should be using a blackout and shred.

Not what I expected
from New Jersey
This isn't what I expected. I have many of this type of stamper (purchased from elsewhere at greater cost). They all work fabulously. When I read the reviews on this one, I saw that the ink didn't last long for other buyers. No problem, I thought, as I'll just re-ink the pad like I do with the others - maybe once a year or less. This one arrived and isn't the same quality at all. It is so very cheaply made that the pad was hard to get into the machine. I've never had that problem with the others. I used it one time on only one box label. It took 10 stamps to cover the label so it wasn't still readable. The ink smeared and never dried. There was ink everywhere. Since the label was a mess, I couldn't put the box into recycling for fear of having someone full of ink from handling it. It is as if the stamp part isn't flat, because it doesn't make a whole stamp. The center is missing out of it, so you only cover the edges. It didn't want to retract the pad back up, either, making me think I'd have to toss it out to keep from inking everything near it since it stayed open. It finally closed, but I had ink all over me from making it close. Went to use it again today, three days later. It is out of ink and doesn't make an impression. I think that it isn't closing properly. This thing is a waste of time and money. I could have done the same thing with a permanent marker and saved myself the grief. Seemed like a good idea, but the smaller price should have clued me in. This is a dud. Doesn't do what it's only job is....I guess you get what you pay for.
Protect Your Identity
from Coon Rapids, MN
The ID protector is small and handy to keep on a desk or place where incoming mail is sorted. Addresses/ personal information can be easily stamped out before the mail is deposited for recycle. The use of this ID protector eliminates extra paper grinding.
Love this stamper

About Me Budget Shopper
I love this stamper. It can get on hands etc. if not careful especially when trying to stamp out name on slick catalogs or surfaces. But it is so much better than having to use my black markers to cover every line of my personal address etc. before throwing away mail. Just love it!! I hope they continue to carry this product. Just brought another one today as I use it everday for those junk mailings with my info on it and any other mailings I throw away with my info on it. I am very proactive when it comes to protecting myself from the bad guys out there who steal your info from mailings...!
Nice but not worth the price...........
By Susie Q.
from Lafayette, LA
This stamper actually works very well; however the ink pad it comes with runs out VERY quickly. I think for the price of the stamper, it should come with an extra ink pad.
