Finally, Purple Passion is an open-pollinated variety that tolerates most climates and is often eaten raw due to having a 20% higher sugar content. Purple Passion also adds gorgeous color to salads and other dishes when left raw but turns green when cooked. This tasty trifecta is sure to please! Edible plant kit includes 10 dormant roots and planting instructions. Grows best in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-9. Perennial life cycle, grows up to 6"-18" high in spring.
