Green Butter Dish
from Elk Grove, Ca.
About Me Practical
Comments about Green Depression Style Glass Butter Dish:
as I siad I like it, but the top is not that easy to handle. Maybe if it had a knob or some kind of handle to take the top off it would be better.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

Not a good fit !
from Santa Rosa CA
I love the depression glass look at such great prices but none of the butter dishes with tops are large enough for an average cube of butter. It stick of butter stays in the top when you take it off.Messy and frustrating.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is what I wanted for keeping a stick of butter soft and covered on the counter. It's a nice replica at a fair price.

I PURCHASED THE GREEN SALT AND PEPPER SHAKER, NICE WEIGHT, VERY SUPRISED AT THE SIZE. GREAT, WILL BE STARTING ICE BLUE SETS, YELLOW AND PINK FOR MY DAUGHTER, WELL MADE PRODUCTS, DEPRESSION GLASS WAS BEFORE MY TIME, BUT, I HAVE A NEW APPRECIATION FOR THE ERA.

from Butner, NC
I purchased the butter dish to match a biscuit jar and strawberry jar I already had. It' not only attractive, but has a very practical purpose as well.

About Me Avid Cook
The butter dish was as described, except that it does not fit a standard cube of butter!!! Why have a butter dish that does not fit a cube of butter?
