The Base was made wrong. The Screw in is on the wrong side. I had to make a hole in a block of wood to hold it. Besides that I like it. Just made me mad they had the screw in on the wrong side!!

metal Christmas tree

I have been looking for a decently priced tree or stand to hold Christmas ornaments that I handpaint. I sell them in a small shop and at craft fairs.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Can't Wait to Use It

About Me Budget Shopper
I only gave it three stars because I have not been able to use it because the holidays are over. It looks like an item I will cherish for the attractive capabilities of displaying my cards. I have to decide each year how to display my cards. On the mantle, fireplace, staircase or on the back of the front door. I am looking forward to displaying them on the tree as I can stand it in the foyer or in a corner in the family room. Both of these areas will give family & guests a birds eye view. I am considering ordering another and use it for the stockings and have them placed on both sides of my fireplace.

This product is a nice way to display Christmas cards. After reading other comments, prior to purchasing, I pinched all the rings closer together to make them tighter before securing my cards. I did find that most cards stayed in place, but.... the picture cards I received are on thin paper and they do not stay in place very well. I placed a small piece of rolled tape on the back (where it would insert into ring) to thicken the weight of the card and that seemed to keep them in place. I do believe this tree was designed to hold heavier paper stock and not thin photo paper. I would recommend this product, but be prepared to do a little work prior to ensure a tight secure fit for your holiday cards.

This looks a lot better in the catalog. Cards will not stay on the tree. I plan to return it.
Sprial Tree Card Holder
from New Jersey
I was very disappointed. The cards don't stay in it at all. I was constantly picking them up off the floor. Everytime I would add one a bunch would fall. For the price I paid, I should not have to use pliers to squeeze the wire to get them to stay in.
Great if you receive lots of cards

When you receive the product, you will need to use a pair of needle nose pliers to pinch each one of the rings or it will not hold the cards properly.

I did not like the way it held cards.
from 2401 Brent Dr.
when it came in I could not put it together because a part was missing. I called they offered to replace the tree but I said not because to get it replace I could not use it when I needed it. They sent me a $10 COUPON for Miles Kimball. The tree was not what I expected. The cards would not always stay on the tree.
