Comments about Easy Release Cake Pan:
I've used this type of pan for years and needed new ones. I never saw them in the store but then I found them from Miles Kimball. I ordered a set for me and a set for my daughter in law. We have one recipe that is always baked in this pan. They are wonderful.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Avid Cook
I like the easy release feature of these cake pans as it prevents the cake from breaking apart and comes out with one smooth motion using the lever to loosen it from the pan. I have been looking for this type of pan for a long time and am very happy you had it in your catalog.

Easy release cake pans
from Henderson, CO
Exactly what I was after. These have become hard to find & they're the only cake pans that don't tear up the cake trying to get them out of the pan. I threw out all my other cake pans!
Treasured 1950's cake pan found again!
from St. Louis County MO
After many moves & downsizing, sadly my treasured cake pans c. 1950s disappeared. I now have a copy of those pans and can again be assured of evenly-baked, easily released cake layers, to frost and tempt my dieting "friends.:

IT IS A 8 INCH PAN

About Me Gourmet Chef
Everyone is saying that this pan is 9 inches. Dually note that the description says that its bottom diameter is 8 inches. the top of the item is 9 inches. So as to give your pie the pie shape. I promise you, if you flip it upside down and measure just the bottom again, it is 8 inches. Thank you :D
I would buy it again, is hard to clean

Beware of cake pan size
By Jean the baker
from Ft Lauderdale, Fl
I love the easy release mechanisum, but the cake size is 9" which makes a much flatter cake, since the cake mix boxes batter is not enough to makea nice cake. The website says 8", but it's actually 9" cake pan.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

sides are slanted
By L the Bakeress
Found these pans to replace older ones that I had absolutely wore out. The sides are not straight, like my old ones, and I don't think they are going to let the cake layers stack the way they should, going have some overlap. A little disappointed, but I guess I will make them work.
