Not my biscuit jar
About Me Practical
I have two of these, one green and one pink. They were sitting on my china cabinet empty but I love them. Then, a month ago, I had to put my furbaby down. He was 14 and full of cancer. I hunted all over for a beautiful container to put his ashes in and couldn't find anything. Came home and then I looked up and found my answer. I used this container for my dog's ashes. I then took the pink one and put the ashes from my other furbaby in it. They are both on top of my china cabinet and looking very pretty. I know they are there and I am happy about that but if someone came into my home, they wouldn't have a clue of what was in them. Inside, I also placed a little printed paper with the details of their births, where I rescued them from as babies and when they past away. I love these jars!
All I was hoping for
I use it for tea bags on my counter. Its very lovely, I'm looking forward to the salt & pepper shakers and salt cellar I ordered.

Could be a little heavier material. I use it for candy, cookies etc. I always liked things made out of depression glass

About Me Stylish
I ended up purchasing (2)--cornstarch and macaroni canisters. The only drawback I've found is that the lid can rattle a bit when replacing it. I'd love to find some containers like this only in bigger sizes. Baking is my Super-Bowl and I pride myself on having the best available 'equipment' from electronics, commercial mixers, and esoteric items as well. I'll continue to 'haunt' miles Kimball for the latest, stylish kitchenware available at a reasonable price.

Pieces don't match
from Oconomowoc, WI
I like the design of the biscuit jar, it is a lovely pattern and hefty enough to be practical but delicate enough to be beautiful. My only disappointment is that the glass on the lid is the clear green that I wanted but the bowl is a cloudy jade color.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great for a cookie jar
Cookies not kept fresh
from Hartford, WI
Looks lovely on the counter. But, it does not seal well and cookies go stale. Needs some sort of a sealing ring. Still, very pretty.
