I was extremely disappointed in these. The glass is of poor quality, it feels dirty and there are several defects. The biggest problem is the holes are too small for anything to be dispensed.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I hate the aluminum lids on these products. They just don't fit securely. When turning them back upright after shaking the salt/pepper falls back on the outside of the shaker. It makes a mess and you have to wipe it each time to make the shakers look clean. I even tried to cut a rubber ring to use as a gasket but didn't have much luck with that. The pepper holes are too small. I'm going to have to try and enlarge mine with an ice pick or nail. MK needs to ditch the aluminum lids on these products and use SS. I'm sure that would increase the price, but I think it would be worth it. If anyone comes up with a solution to this problem, please post it.
