Comments about Non Slip Ice Carpet:
We use these at our church. We have to put on pieces of chopped wood on it to hold it down. It is very lightweight. It works very well in the snow. We can either clean it off or remove it so the stairs are clean before Church. I would also recommend the wider version of this because it allows you space to put something on it to hold it down. Problem with ice if you are going to pull it up. It will tear. I would wait until there is no ice on it to pick it up and put it inside. When I bring it inside, I lay it out to let it dry out for a day. Then it can roll up. At the end of the first year, you will have debris come off of it. You will need to vacuum. It stores easily. I usually get two good years out of a carpet.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

Dogs still slide down the stairs

Sounded like a good idea to help my dogs walking on a icy deck and stairs but not helpful for me or them. Didn't stick to the deck

About Me Homeowner, Mother
I buy one of these every year. You can put them on your steps or on the ground. My parents use it on their steps. I use it as a walkway from the garage to my car so my children do not fall. It goes right on top of ice or snow. The one I have now is frozen due to weather, but I still will not slip if walking on it. It bunches a little and sometimes doesn't lay flat so you have be sure you don't trip on it. It also doesn't usually last more than one season. ..but still worth it.

I love this ice carpet
This ice carpet works really good on my deck so I don't slip on the ice and snow when taking my dog out in the winter.

About Me Homeowner, Senior
I just love it. I buy a few every year and give some for X-mas presents. For me, it is great on snowy and icy walks and steps. Saves me a lot of shoveling and salt. To make it work better on the steps, you can cut it as sections and place on each step. To make it lie flat after unrolling, I suggest getting it wet by putting it in the tub and pouring water over it. That will flatten it quickly, making it easier to put out. Otherwise, it will flatten out on its own after it gets wet from the snow

Very poor quality
By Mom's the baker

The front steps were icy today so my husband unrolled this carpet and placed it on the porch. Before I saw it he started to staple it down. It was so flimsy, you could see the porch right throulgh it. And, it had defects before we even stepped on it. We will have to remove staples and then find something else! I bought it last year I stored it then to use this year. What a mistake. I am sure I cannot return it now either.
