It is a beautiful blanket, priced welland the colors are beautiful. But, after one wash following directions, it just seems like it is falling apart. The softness/plushness is gone and feels itchy and makes a lot of dust.

I wanted a new chenille spread with as much fluff as I could get. This one is super fluffy and has lots of softness to it. Chenille does have a tendency to create dust due to fluff that comes loose with use. That is the nature of chenille. It also leaves lots of lint in the lint trap as you dry. I have a chenille bedspread that is many years old and even though the amount is less than at first, it still puts out a good amount of lint in the lint trap and also a certain tiny amount in the room the bedspread is used in which basically looks like the room gets a little dustier than normal. The benefits and comfort and looks of the chenille far outweights the lint. It also comes out full and fluffy even after years of washing. (you would think they would go bald after a while but they don't) I tend to sleep on top of my bedspread all through the hot months here in texas and the chenille feels wonderful (not hot) under me while I sleep. It looks good too. I bought a king size for my queen bed because I have a big (16" at least) mattress on the bed and a queen size bedspread looks to short due to the added height of the bed. I measured from floor to floor so I knew I would need a king no matter what brand I bought. I selected the green and it is a nice middle of the road green. Could be called spring green or maybe grass green. It is a good color and I am happy with this purchase all the way around.

It looks like an expensive bedspread. I love the purple color and the size is great! It was just going to be a seasonal cover but it can definitely be used year round. Would purchase again!

My 96-year-old Mother still likes to make her bed sometimes. Since this bedspread is a good fit, I don't worry about her tripping over the bottom of it, causing her to fall. The weight of the spread is just right. One that it replaced was too bulky for her to handle.

I like this spread because in the summer time I take off the comforter as it is too heavy. This spread is just perfect and doesn't weigh you down. I love the color, and the size is more than perfect for my queen bed. I would buy it again if I needed one. This spread will last many years and I love the look and feel of the chenile. I did my homework on line and this bedspread is just super wonderful. I wanted a true purple one and this is about as good as you will find. The fit is great, it is very soft and you could use it as a throw or even a light blanket if you wanted to. But for myself it is is used as it is shown on the picture. I love it, it reminds me of the ones my familiy used when I was a child. It is useful, soft, fluffy and very comfortable and it fits the queen bed. Just simply love it for what it really is.
