What the former customer failed to recognize is if you fill a bag with liquid, turn it upside down with just an exit hole, all of the liquid will drain out all at once. There is a rubber restrictor valve in the screw-top of the feeder that is felxible enough so the hummer can stick his tongue in to access the liquid but it will close once the bird removes his tongue. If you look inside the valve, you will see the little yellow rubber flow restrictor. There was nothing wrong with the feeder. He just didn't understand how it worked. It would have been helpful, however, if the manufacturer had included this bit of info on the label.

It does not dispense the liquid. I went to the web site listed on the package and there is no mention of anything regarding this problem. I am going to take this one back and try another one. It is possible that it just takes a long time for the liquid to become available after putting it together, adding water and hanging, but if this is so then that should be stated in the instructions. it isn't and going to the site listed on the package does not show you the promised video of it in action. it just tries to sell you more stuff.
