I use my new salt cellar to store Kosher salt by my stove. It's an excellent size for reaching in to grab that perfect pinch of salt. The color is beautiful. Ruby glass has become that "POP" of color in my kitchen, and this piece matches it, is utilitarian and is not so expensive that I would be afraid to put it to good use.

The best thing about this unique salt celler, is the deep red color and the thickness of the glass. It is very durable, and large enough to hold at least 1/4 cup of sea salt. Would make a great gift for your "chef" friends!

This salt crock sits next to my stove w/ course sea salt for cooking. It's a pretty dark shade of red & looks great with my kitchen colors of dark red, dark yellow, dark orange & olive green.

I love my salt well! So much so that I ordered the salt and pepper shakers and the spoon rest to match. They sit next to my stove for easy reach. My decor in the kitchen is red and khaki, so these beautiful red glass items fit right in! I am very glad I got them!

This is a great item. It is very pretty sitting on the conter and it is also decorative. Nice weight to it. I wish it had a seal on the top someway just to keep the air from the salt other wise it is a really nice piece.
