Comments about Personalized Poinsettia Serving Platter:
Ordered four as Christmas gifts, name not centered, was told later by my daughter that the lettering comes off.
Great gift!

This is a very functional and festive platter. It is a versatile size for either a sidedish or cookies. The personalization makes it a great gift, as the receiver knows you made it especially for them. I do wish it could be guaranteed as dishwasher safe, though.

overpriced junk

My mom gave one of these to my husband and I as an early Christmas present. I noticed immediately that our name was printed off-center on the plate, but just thanked mom for that and did not point it our to her. I was horrified to discover the price she paid for it! I could have had a one of a kind serving dish or bowl from a popular local pottery shop for that price. There was no info. with the box indicating that it could not be put in the dishwasher, an it never crossed my mind that the paint could come off, I mean shouldn't they make sure it can't come off, so people don't ingest it with their food? We used it at Thanksgiving to serve sliced turkey, and later it went right in the dishwasher, like every useful serving dish I own. Well, it came out with 1/2 our name gone. I am convinced that the name would rub off even if hand washed, as the printing comes right off if I run my fingernail across it. I will scratch off the name (easily) and just use the plate as it is then(and hope my mom doesn't see it or ask about it).
