I wanted this to match a turkey my mother has. The picture is the right color but the one I got in the mail is darker, almost black.

The color does not match my other amber pieces. Looks very out of place. I would return but it would cost more to return than I paid for it. Will sell in garage sale.
COLOR MATCH CONCERNS

I bought several pieces of amber tableware with the intention of using them on my Thanksgiving table and throughout the fall. My only disappointment with this piece is that while it is amber, it is a noticeably darker amber than shown in the photo. It's not the same color as the other pieces I purchased, but given that it's a toothpick holder, I can live with it. Perhaps it's good that it is pretty dark, because if you look closely at the head, it looks more like some bad science experiment between a turkey and an elephant; the turkey wattle comes straight down the head like an elephant's nose. No hint of a beak in sight. The other detailing is very good, given the size and the price.
