Great to deter blackbirds and squirrels

About Me Do-It-Yourself
Comments about Jeanine Bird Feeder:
It is not easy for blackbirds and squirrels to get to, but the smaller birds loved it! Especially the chicadees!I did have a red belly woodpecker figure out how to get to it as well. It enabled me to feed the birds all winter without worrying about large hoards of them eating the feeder food in one day.Blackbirds and squirrels did on occassion partake, but found it was a lot of work to do so and quickly moved on.The only con is the cardinals have not figured out how to use it yet,
Dumb bird feeder

The bars for the feeder are right in front of the seed portholes. No bird would ever get to feed from this stupid bird feeder
DO NOT Buy!
By NH Baker

I thought these were pretty enough when they arrived. As soon as I took one out of the box, the clip broke. No biggie. I filled and hung out, bird came. I went to fill again and noticed there is no way the birds can get to the bottom quarter of the seed. So it sits there and rots.I emptied and filled again...another clip broke. Not happy with this purchase at all.

Nice feeder!
By Pasha
from Bogota, NJ
This is a pretty feeder that is large enough to hold quite a bit of seed. The scroll-work is very attractive, and the feeder ports are protected by metal bands that have an Art-Deco look. However, the feeder itself doesn't come out for cleaning, or have drainage holes (it had about a half inch of water after a storm). The perches have some rust, but it is not noticeable, since the cage is so fancy.

Beautiful and squirrel proof
By Arnold on the ridge

I have used this feeder for years. It is high quality and weather resistant. Squirrels can not get to the food but small birds, even cardinals, can eat in peace. Beats any feeder I have ever purchased. It is a little expensive but worth every penny.
