I recieved this in the mail yesterday and was very pleased. It seems like it will be very sturdy and will make a great addition to the breakfast table. I love the color and wish it came in the antique green or light pink as I have both of those colors and cannisters in my kitchen.
I tried the pouring quality and it worked well also, no messy drips.

WE USE IT FOR POURING HONEY, AND IT WORKS JUST FINE. HOWEVER,THE HONEY SEEMS TO RUN DOWN IF IT ISN'T WIPED OFF AND ENDS UP ON THE BOTTOM OF THE
TABLE.IT IS A NICE STURDY PRODUCT.

This dispenser may work well for syrups, but as I found out after using it for honey for 4 months, honey is acidic and corrodes the chrome lid interior. I am concerned that ingesting chrome might be bad for my family, so now I am looking for a dispenser with a stainless steel lid OR something food grade to coate the lid interior with to prevent further corrosion!

This syrup dispenser has deep rich color & detailing. It will make an attractive addition to the breakfast table. Functional as well as pretty! My only complaint is that the metal portion of the dispenser is a little noisy when the mechanism is pushed down.
