This is a pretty spoonrest but I get nervous using it because the glass is delicate. I try not to put my utensils into it too hard because I am afraid I might crack it. Not the most practical item for kitchen use, but pretty. The color is good, and the strawberry design is sweet. Matches the blues in my kitchen.

I purchased this for my sister for Christmas, who collects Depression Era Cobalt Blue Glass. It is a beautiful piece, and appears to be sturdy. I know she's going to love it !

Beautiful color and design. I suggest NOT keeping this spoon rest on the stove while cooking, as mine cracked into several pieces while I was heating up a pot of boiling water on the burner next to it! Not sure if it was due to a flaw in mine or maybe the glass is not tempered--but not going to risk it again, as I'll keep my new one on the countertop just to be safe.

I recently re-modeled my kitchen and I had a set of cobalt blue dishes and wanted to bring that color into my kitchen, but cobalt blue is hard to find. I am very pleased with all the products I have purchased in this line.
