I'm pleased with this ironing mat. It is heavy-duty, well-made, fits perfectly on top of my washer. The magnets are strong, and the mat folds up to fit into any cabinet.

This would be great to use for me if I hadn't already purchased ~risers` for new Duet Whirpool washer and dryer.
As the appliances are sitting at present, they are just short of my cabinets approx 4 inches or so.Otherwise, I would definately use this item.

This is a great item. It works well on the washer ( I put a heavy towel underneath), but I also use it to protect my comforter for a quick touch-up on the bed.

I specifically ordered this product from M-K because of the description. However, what I got was exactly the description of an ironing mat provided elsewhere, although more affordable, I was avoiding because I wanted 100% cotton.
The item I rec'd is NOT 100% cotton!!
The tag says shell is 80 poly/20 cotton.
The inner filling is 100% polyester.
It is not 33.5" long, it is at its longest 32.5".
I feel disappointed, but the item itself seems OK, though not as nice as the picture. The one in the picture has a straight seam near the edges that is missing in mine. M-K probably did initially sell the item that is pictured but then moved to the item I received. So, just keep in mind that earlier reviews may be for the initial product and not its replacement.
This one has a string for hanging, which could come in handy. I haven't used it yet since I just got it, so I don't know how hot it will get, how easily the iron will slide over it, or how strong the magents are for the job.

Good to have a ironing mat that stays in place! Great as a cover for the washer when I need to use the flat surface to temporarily sit something. Folds up compactly to store!!

Don't know why I waited so long to get one of these. It's so convenient. I'm doing laundry for my Mom and she's a little more particular. Works great. I am recommending it to all my friends who are also very busy.

It couldn't be any smarter. The perfect ironing mat to be used in the perfect place to do ironing. I first bought it to do just touch up ironing but ended up ironing shirts on it, too. I hardly open my ironing board to do ironing. It is made up of durable quality and holds onto dryer with strong magnets. it also protects the dryer from becoming scratched when doing laundry and emptying pocket. I would recommend this for everyone doing ironing.

This is great for a quick touch up or one item. It is easy to get out and attach to the dryer. I love not having to get my ironing board out!
