Great to organize yarn and travel with, light weight and functional. Great for a serious knitter or crochet-er. Not too bulky, but with good storage in back.

I bought this product to store my yarn & craft items in. I love the concept of the way this product is made but it is cheaply made. The zippers are plastic and easily broken. I had to work with my zippers to get them lined up. I like the product, hope it will last and would really love it, if it was not so cheaply made.

it was hard to set up for my knitting project. not roomy enough nice to see yarn through plastic windows. need more storage for bigger projects.

This yarn storage bag could be used for other crafts as well. My mother-in-Law is 91 and she got it all set up herself with her yarns and such.It is sturdy, has a handle and clear plastic on sides to see what you have stored. I would recommend this to anyone who knits or crochets.

I was making a baby afghan with 6 colors, so it was perfect since there is room for 6 regular size skeins of yarn in the skein compartments. Each compartment can hold either two regular size skeins or one Jumbo skein. The zippered skein compartments are clear so you can easily see your skeins.

I like the bigger compartment on the backside of the organizer where you can keep your work-in-progress. Very handy. The zippered end pocket is perfect for keeping my crochet hooks and yarn needles and the open velcro-tabbed pocket is the perfect size for keeping my printed out 8 1/2" x 11" copies of the crochet patterns and small pattern books. There is also a flat zippered pocket on the top where I keep my scissors and current crochet hook.

There are only two improvements I would make to this organizer:
1) That the velcro yarn end keeper (to keep it from sliding down into the skein compartment) be replaced with maybe a plastic or metal clip (like hair barrettes are made); and
2) That the work-in-progress compartment side were a little more rigid (maybe made out of a slightly more rigid canvas). When I'm working on my current project, that side collapses and the organizer will lean toward the heavier skein compartment to the point where it lays completely down if it's not propped up by something.

Overall, it suits my needs perfectly and I'm not having to dig around in a regular tote bag to find my hook that's fallen to the bottom or worry about finding the end of the yarn every time I change colors. Great product at a good price! I highly recommend it.

i bought this product for my crocheting projects which i do for my business. i do really like the design and overall, it has worked well for me. my only problem with it is that the zipper broke fairly easily, fairly quickly. i am still using it and plan on replacing the zipper so its not too bad. like i said, overall, worth the price and great for projects.
