Hair Spools, not quite from yesteryear.
By pritci1252

Comments about Hair Spools Set of 24:
These hair spools would probably work if they were larger and of a different material. The spool is made from a type of plastic. Use of a different material along with increasing the size, would probably make for a better product. Back to quality control and the drawing table.

About Me Product Junkie
Called 'spoolies' in the fifties. These held out promise but did not deliver.Did not wind up the hair properly; came loose easily.Huge disappointment and a waste of money....shipping, handling, taxes...tripled the base price.

About Me Beauty Conscious
I wanted my hair to have the curly look and still have my straight hair back the next day. These rollers are perfect to use in this way. You need to pay attention to the amount of hair you put into each roller. Small amounts work best. I used a styling product to help make the curl more lasting. If you have thick hair need two packs of the rollers to do all of your hair because of the need to use small amounts of hair in each. Felt like a teen again using them. I loved the results. Hint: use fingers to comb hair and toss into place. I also had the front and crown of my hair already styled before I rolled the rest of my hair. Loved the results. Felt young again!!

What's Old is New Again.

I remember these from when I was little. With the new wavy styles, these do the trick. My hair is thick and very long. Works well. I showed my young 20-something niece & now she want a package. Be creative! You can do a lot with these. Put your hair up in a pony tail, section the tail in small parts and curl the tail pieces only. It's a good look. Beats burning your hair and hands with a curling iron.

About Me Minimalist
I thought this would be an easy way to just get a few curls right where I wanted them. The product looked easy and soft to sleep on. Unfortunately the product couldn't hold more than about 5 wrap arounds of hair (so only wrapped about 4 inches) and even if you tried smaller sections it would not hold the hair when you tried to roll the top of the roller over. The curlers fell out easily and never lasted even a few minutes while sleeping.
Great product

The only thing that would make this product better is if it came in different sizes. I enjoyed using this product in the 1960's, in fact I wore my curlers out and could no longer find them until now. I am so happy it has come back.

these curlers are great, but they are easy to put too much hair on the spool, so you need to be careful. if they are too full they fall out. the curls are beautiful when you do it correctly.
TOO SOFT!

LOUSY!I was expecting something like the old spoolies; these were solid, almost hard. Very disappointed.
A BLAST FROM MY CURLY PAST!

These are actually FUN hair curlers. They not only look cute but they are like playing with your hair...and they make me feel like a kid again.(My hair is short. Long hair? I'm not sure).
