I was eager to make a small pot of chicken soup in this cooker. A few hours after adding the ingredients, I noticed that the ON light was off.

I lifted the tepid porcelain liner and discovered two burn holes in the bottom of the cooker and black singeing on the liner.

The wiring obviously shorted out on its maiden voyage and now I own a worthless little cooker.
