About Me Practical
Comments about Blue Depression Glass Sugar Dispenser:
I hate storing foods and condiments in plastic, so when I saw this glass sugar container in lovely cobalt, I ordered one. It's a good size for shelf, table, or counter use. The metal top allows sugar grains to fall against the thread of the screw itself, making removal and replacement somewhat difficult. Working a bit longer to accomplish screwing the lid on or off in my opinion doesn't detract much from this container's excellent attributes. I liked mine so much, I bought one for my nephew for Christmas.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Bargain Hunter
I bought mine to put powdered creamer in and it works well for that. I saw a comment by another reviewer stating that she wished for a way to identify her sugar vs splenda. I am going to buy the biscuit jar for keeping my stevia. I think it would make for easier access.

I was looking very forward to using this product. Very disappointed when received because the cover does not twist off.

What a shame!
from Hamilton, OH
Like the appearance and it is certainly heavy enough, but since the lid won't screw on tightly the sugar clumps and won't pour. So unless you are interested in a purely decorative piece, pass on this item.

About Me Frequent Entertainer
The accent color in my kitchen is cobalt blue. When I saw this sugar dispenser in the catalog, I liked the style, but I was hoping that the color would be exactly the shade of blue I wanted. The sugar dispenser arrived and I was very happy with the lovely cobalt color and overall design. It looks beautiful in my kitchen.

About Me Stylish
It looks like the old time blue cobalt glassware. I have been looking for this for a long time, so glad I found it at Miles Kimball!
great item for my collection
from Benton, Pa.
I'm very happy with my purchase of the sugar container, cobalt blue depression ware that i found on your site. It goes great with the other pieces that I have. And there are other pieces that i have on my wish list that i will get when i have the money. An added plus is that they go great with my blue and white enamel tin dinnerware that i have. I will probably get some of the pink depression too, my daughter collects that color. The prices aren't bad either, they'll make a great christmas gift for her.

Top doesn't fit well
from PA, USA
This is beautiful, I love the deep color. The tp doesn't fit well, you have to open to refill over the sink or there will be sugar everywhere from being stuck under the rim of the top.Everytime you tip it to use it a little will fall onto the cabinet from under the rim.All in all, I'm keeping it because its pretty but it is a huge pain keeping the sugar cleaned up around the kitchen from it.
