About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about Garden Black Cat:
This cat is very cute - love the eyes, reminds us of our real live cat. Seems durable. Only downfall - disappointed that there are no stakes attached - I will have to make something to put it in the garden.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

Would like to be able to order yard stake to hold cat. I do not mind paying extra for a stake.

amazing value for the price

I bought this as a garden ornament. If it kept the pesky chipmunks away, it would have been nice - did not. Not having any stakes was not a problem since I was attaching the cat to a split rail fence.

I wanted it for my back yard but until I can make a stake for it it's in my porch window. My neighbor thought I had a new addition.

Great Decorative Addition yard.

These Cats are very attractive. I purchased 13 and am not disappointed. To secure them to the ground I purchased a package of 30 Aluminum Tie Wires (in the fence department of my local home and garden store). I needed 26 and the package was about $4.00, you may purchase them individually also. The black cat looks really cute at the edge of a planter and my dog thought it was real.

No Stake - No Problem
from Leslie, MI
How to make a cheap and easy stake: Drill a small hole (a little bit smaller than the holes at the bottom of the cat) about three quarters of an inch or so from the top of the handle of a sturdy plastic knife. Dig around in your coffee can for a short pointed screw that will fit in the hole & screw the knife on tightly. If your ground is very hard make a slit in it with a screwdriver or a knife before driving in stake.
