No Stake - No Problem
By Juzsayin
from Leslie, MI
How to make a cheap and easy stake: Drill a small hole (a little bit smaller than the holes at the bottom of the cat) about three quarters of an inch or so from the top of the handle of a sturdy plastic knife. Dig around in your coffee can for a short pointed screw that will fit in the hole & screw the knife on tightly. If your ground is very hard make a slit in it with a screwdriver or a knife before driving in stake.

We have a black cat so this was perfect for our yard. Cute kitty and fits right in
It does deter cats!

I bought this because I have a stray cat that is coming up to my front door and spraying it, even when I am looking at right the cat! I have it positioned on the left side of the steps leading up to my front porch. It definitely has stopped that cat from spraying. As the cat walks by is suddenly stops cuz it see's the figure on the porch with the huge eyes starring at it and hurridly scurries away and doesn't even approach. ON the downside, there is no way to stake it in the yard which is a shame. I think skewers would work ok though.
Need more to order.
