Comments about Thimble Nativity Set:
I bought sets for my Granddaughters as Christmas gifts expecting them to be able to display them. I was to embarrassed to give the sets to them with the poor painting job that they had...

I have a large collection of Nativity scenes diplayed in several curio cabinets year round. I specialy like the unusual ones. This one is definitely unusual and fit right into my collection.

I am disappointed. The figures look cute in the photo. In person, the pieces are larger and thicker than I imagined. The face of baby Jesus is dirty - and it does not wash off. Each piece looks dirty, too. I would be embarrassed to give them as a gift or to display them.

Was very disapointed in this. [...] was not at all what I expected. Sent I back and do not want a replacement!
these will be great for my granddaughter next year!
DETAIL PAINTING IS VERY CLEAR

This small nativity is clearly defined and well made. I only noted one unusual detail: that is the baby Jesus in His manger sits higher than Mary, however, it makes the focal point more interesting.
I should have looked more closely

I should have looked more closely at the picture--I expected them to truly be thimbles. They are not that cute--could not give them to the person I ordered them for. My 4 year old grandson plays with them.
