Great lap desk
from Springfield, Illinois
I use this when I am in my recliner while I read the paper, do paperwork, eat a meal and at other times. It is so handy and easy to store, it doesn't take up any space at all. I just lean it up against the side of the recliner. I am very glad I purchased this.
comofortable but less sturdy than hoped.

It was purchased to hold a laptop computer as I sat in a rocking chair. I had hoped for a bit more sturdiness, but with care it is a help.
Perfect for a Shut-In

Not what I expected

This "desk" tips when anything larger than a sheet of paper is put on it. Unless you have chairs with very long arms, it won't work unless the person using it is extremely small or thin. I wouldn't put my laptop on it....or my tablet, either.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

I love this item
By Cruise Queen
I like the design. I like the bands to hold papers, pens, etc. The board itself could be a little thicker - a little more sturdy.

Boy Did You Fool Me!!!!
By The Momster

This so-called lap desk is the biggest piece of junk I have been fooled into buying in a long time. It is nothing but a piece of plywood with a couple of holes cut out. The picture looked like it had legs --NOT. It slips off the chair with all your materials. I cannot believe that Miles Kimball had the gall to offer this. I am not sending it back because it isn't worth the postage - I'm already out money for something I cannot use, except maybe for firewood!!!!!

I use this while in my recliner to draw or do other crafts. Large enough to reach across to both arms of my recliner. Sturdy, smooth surface is great for paperwork.

This is the 2nd lap desk product that I purchased from Miles Kimball, this time as a gift. I use my lap desk all the time while sitting on the couch. It is convenient for writing bills, cards and playing solitaire! My grandkids play with it all the time. It is very lightweight but still sturdy
