Don't waste your time with this one. Impossible to turn once ice is in the container. Even one ice cube caused problems - I expected it to fall apart before I could get it in the box to return.

Product is exactly what I needed to get a couple small-but-necessary ice chips into my shaken cocktails (Martini's, shaken Manhattans, etc.) It's not the most solid item on the planet, but for the money and the use, it works just fine.
The blades don't turn easily.

I like the end product, but it is very difficult to turn the handle to crush the ice.

The blades on this ice crusher are not sharp enough to cut the ice. Very,very hard to use. Think it would work better if the base was stable or had suction cups to attach to counter. You have to try to hold it down and at the same time crank it, my husband could hardly make it work, and he is very strong!
Ice ends up with oily residue!

I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with this product. It's very hard to crush ice and the blades and plastic parts rust quickly. This ice crusher makes the best crushed ice when it works. I just wish it wasn't so difficult to use. Even one ice cube at a time is difficult.

Have been wanting this ice crusher for a long time. So convenient and conpact. No longer have to search for an outlet. Also has a reasonable price.

My husband has stomach cancer and can't swallow. I crush him ice and he puts a small piece, at a time, in his mouth. Easy to use, easy clean up, and looks good on the counter. I would definately buy this product again and suggest it for friends to use. [...]
