Great Idea but Terrible design

Comments about Claws Off™ Patio Screen Door Protector:
Doesn't stay together, wind or use of door knocks it apart, need 2 people to snap it together, you couldn't just cut one end to assemble because one side was longer than the other when assembled from the manufacture.Great idea, but poorly designed. Need to make the pins more secure to hold the other side. When assembling raise a couple of inches from the bottom so your pet can smell the outside air.

Claws off has saved me a lot of money in replacement screens and unsitely repairs. You just can't beat it.
Difficult to install

Claws Off comes rolled in a tube. Before trying to install, it must be flattened. Directions say assembly is easier with two people. I agree - it is very difficult to do alone. Although it is a simple procedure, it requires more than two hands. It is exactly what I need to save my screen, (which is on the inside of the door).

Was hard to put on the screen, holes and pins don't really match up if you have to cut to fit. Our cat is clever enought to pull the pins on the screen and as unstable as these "snaps" are, she would have them off in a minute. It is flimsy and easily "unsnapped". I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. The concept is good, the product is not.

I tired to place it on my screen door and pins that secure it on the plastic stripes do not line up as the instructions state. Also in the picture in your magazine there are 4 plastic stripes shown and the the article I recieved there are only 2 stripes. Since I have already destroyed the packageing and the return lable, I will not be able to return the article, but I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. I have stated how I feel and I have not been compensated for this review.

This is a 2-piece item with one piece being on the outside and one inside. There are small pins in one piece that you must stick through your screening to attach to the other piece. The pins are too short to actually be effective, not to mention the difficulty in getting the pins into the other piece and the two pieces to hold together.
