    Comments about Squirrel Baffle:

This is wonderful. I have it in my yard on a pole away from trees and had not seen a squirrel yet. If you do see a squirrel by the pole, they are under this and just look up and run away cause cannot get to feeder, will order another one for another feeder

        Comments about Squirrel Baffle:

After using one baffle I bought a second one & doubled them up. Bracket underneath & bracket on top of two baffles. This also proved ineffective. Squirrels came from bottom & pushed upwards on baffle & bypassed the entire baffle. They also would jump about 6-7 feet from birdbath to TOP of baffle & hold onto 1/2 inch pole and still feed from squirrelproof feeders. I do not recommend this product.

          Comments about Squirrel Baffle:

I used this baffle and type of feeder shown in the picture. I also used this baffle with a tube feeder. I must say, it was actually quite amusing to watch the squirrels literally slide down the pvc pipe and onto the baffle where they would then slide and grab onto the bird feeder and happily eat upside down. I have finally given up on spending any more money on baffles or feeders.

            Comments about Squirrel Baffle:

We've tried everything to keep the squirrels from eating all of the birdseed including setting up their own feeding station. Nothing worked until we installed these baffles. It's fun to watch them try to figure out how to beat this challenge.

                Comments about Squirrel Baffle:

It was pretty easy to install and it saved us SO much in birdseed as the chipmunks could no longer get to the feeders and eat or toss out all the seed.
I did have to order new ones this Fall as they got brittle after a year and cracked enough to fall off.

After fighting the squirrel at our birdfeeder with everything we found locally, we ordered the SQUIRREL BAFFLE and have been pleasantly surprised at its efficiency!

                Comments about Squirrel Baffle:

I found the squirrel baffles to be very effective and good return on my investment.

It is important that you use the "four foot rule" when suspending the feeder from above. I have five birdfeeders suspended from a wire 15 feet off the ground. You should mount the squirrel baffle 48 inches from the horizontal wire the feeder is suspended from (at least 12' off the ground). Allow an additional 48 inches between the baffle and the birdfeeder. Last but not least, the bird feeder should be at least four feet off the ground and away from an adjacent tree. Most squirrels cannot leap over 48 inches. Sometimes the tray you add to birdfeeders to catch seeds dropped by birds can also act as a landing zone for squirrels that attempt to jump through a baffle. I don't mind the squirrels eating off the ground as long a they don't raid the feeders. I hope this is useful.
