I bought this and thought it was great until today! When I went to turn on the faucet it was frozen. It is below zero with a wind chill of -25.

I bought several of these years ago. Easy to put on and take off when you need to use your faucet. They work great year after year. Eventually after several years the Velcro gets weak, but all Velcro does that after years of use. Just sew on new velcro and good as new! I am buying new ones, due to losing some and having dogs use some for chew toy!! They are worth every penny.
I would buy this again
Use it on the outside faucet. Use the faucet in the winter to get water for the horse. The material is ripping with daily use. Need to cover the faucet because our temps go below zero in the winter.

Easy to install even under extreme conditions, cold, windy and rainy weather. Don't know yet if it will do the job it says, but am willing to try anything to protect the faucets from freezing.

This item is what I had been looking for to replace my old styrofoam faucet covers. They were cumbersome and difficult to put on. The faucet sock was easy to use and features velcro which makes it so much easier to install. In 3 minutes I had all three of my faucets covered. My only complaint is that there aren't a choice of colors to help it blend in to the siding of the house better, but if that is my only complaint, it is a small one.
