The clothing shaver works well to remove "nubbies" or what are called "pills" on fabric that has been worn for a while and usually contains polyester or acrylic blends that cause the pilling. It does a great job in removing the unwanted pilling. It is a great item, my only minor complaints are that the cover on the battery compartment is a little difficult to remove and replace, and the cover to empty out the shavings is a little difficult to snap back into place without breaking the little pieces on the sides that hold the cover on. Other than that, I really like this item.

Shaver was exactly as pictured. Works great, especially for clothing with large patches of fuzzballs. I am considering purchasing another one to have a spare on hand. Price is very reasonable.
Saved Sweaters Lives!

I didn't know what to do with some of my daughters sweaters. They had so many pills. I saw this in Miles Kimball and remembered how my mother always ordered goods from their catalog, so I thought I would give this sweater shaver a try. Wow! What a difference. The sweaters look so much better. You can control the shaver by how hard you press it against the knit of the fabric. I love this gadget. What took me so long?
You get what you pay for

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The fabric shaver does not run well on batteries or charger. It requires several passes over fabric and still only removes little of the "fuzz". I bought 2 and gave one to a friend and was embarrassed when I used mine and it performed so poorly.

I like this product very much. It is better than the smaller ones because you finish the job so much faster. Sturdy and easy to use.

wanted to use on sweaters, find the storage capacity small, and have had to change the batteries often, and they are new. My older smaller one works better

This is a great fabric shaver for sweaters and sweatshirts or anything that has balling or fuzzes on the fabric. It works very quickly and is great that it has different adjustments depending on what type of fabric you want to use it on.
