I use it to track the hours of daylight that we have and the approx weather pattern that might be expected. I do find the recipes interesting, though I have yet to make one.

I always try to buy an almanac there is so much useful information in it. I use it to plant flowers, prune my trees, cut my hair, begin my diets, wean my babies off the bottles, and also for potty training. It contains so much information about planting crops and gardens and the weather. No house should be without one. I stongly reccomend this book to all my friends.
