Design flaw, but perfect solution

I had given up putting a garland on my staircase bannister because it is such an ordeal to do -- until I bought this product. It makes it incredibly easy! I loved it. However, there is a downside; they are made of plastic and fit so tightly on my handrail that about half of them broke in two when I removed them! But they are so reasonably priced, and made hanging the garland so easy, I just ordered a second set to use next year! I don't mind buying a new set every year because they are so inexpensive.I think if the plastic had a little more give to it; like rubber, it would work better, but I still like the product -- enough to purchase twice!

Plastic hardens and cracks

This fit on our railing great, held the garland great, and then snapped and broke when I took them off, and they sure should not have because they didn't have to flex hardly at all to be removed! The plastic had hardened in just a couple of weeks, and there were tons of hairline cracks in them. About half broke completely as I removed them. At the price they're at, buying new ones every year is pretty ridiculous.With such a minor change (make them more flexible), this would be a wonderful product!

I really got tired of scratches on my dark banister and these removed that possibility. hold garland and then have little gadget to attach the bows. great, great
Fabulous but flimsy

These work fabulously. They really make it easy to manage long, bulky garland. When it's finished, you can't see them. They are flimsy and every year two or three break. I've superglued them and they work great the next year. Definitely worth getting but I'd get an extra set to replace the brokens.

Garland Grabbers

These garland grabbers are a great idea, but very flimsy. I ordered some 2 years ago. They are plastic. They have a little bit of flex to them, but not a lot. While putting them on the rail, 2 of them broke. The next Christmas when I got them out to put them on the rail, all but 2 broke. They need to be made of a better, sturdier, material to last. If they were sturdy, they would be wonderful! Makes it much easier than using floral wire as I did before.

Hanging the stairway garland is my job--all by myself! It is pretty when finished, but oh! how I dread doing it alone. The Garlnd Grabbers made it 100% easier. It's like having that extra pair of hands.

I was excited about the purchase until I received it and found out that because I have an older home with wider railing, I could not use them because they were too small.
very useful for stairs etc.
