This product is useless. By my meaning of useless, i mean i still have to use a knife in order the CUT the rest of the melon. Now, with the melon in the picture you are using to display this ease; well i too also bought a melon, aka cantaloupe. Upon pressing down onto the melon, i had to use my whole body weight, so i was literally feet off the floor. Once it pressed inside, you spin the cutter. Well since the blade is on the inside, it cuts smaller pieces, still leaving just as much melon on the skin to what you just cut using this "tool". So like i said, useless!

No matter how ripe the mellon, or how hard down you push the cutter into the mellon it leaves too much of the mellon still on the rine. Many times les than half of the depth of the mellon is sliced.

The idea seems good but unfortunately, this product doesn't work well at all. Both my husband and myself tried to make it work, but it's useless. Don't waste your money.
