Hoping this works

Comments about Bird Scarer Wind Sock:
I ordered 6 of these to hang from my boat rigging. After being assaulted by seagulls and osprey my boat smelled and looked like a fish factory. I spent an entire weekend cleaning the mess away. Sure hope these wind socks do the trick!

Love the Unique Design

About Me Midrange Shopper
We live in the middle of Woodpecker territory in the Forest. They are a constant problem what with drilling our Deck posts and house wood siding, even though it is not bare wood. Bought this and as soon as we put it up on the Deck post where they had started drilling, the Woodies moved on, literally. They did not and have not come back since we hung it. Love it and it does the job. A little pricey though but worth the investment. I like the design as it is attractive and nicer to look at than plain bird scare tape. It adds a unique decoration to the house that no one else has. It also is quiet and not noisey like the typcial bird scare tape we have under the decks. This one is right outside our bedroom and we don't hear it at all yet we can hear the bird scare tape under the deck at the other end of the house. This item is made so that it has a hook that swivels and is very easy to attach and it won't come off and never gets twisted up. The only downfall in this product is that in high winds, it does shed and fall apart. Quite a few of the hanging strings just fell off but with normal winds, it seems to hold up. We also forgot and left it out in a couple of snow storms and it actually survived. I would recommend this product and in fact even bought a couple more this year for the other decks since the first one worked. It really did scare of the Woodies and they are leaving our house alone now. Sorry to the poor neighbor whose house they have moved on to. I really am happy with this as it does the job and looks great while doing so.

Darn Woodpeckers!
By East Coast Vegan

This product was recommended to me to keep a bothersome woodpecker from pecking my roof. Attaching this to my roof was a bit tricky as I had to call on a trusty contractor friend to help me, well set it up for me. Aside from needing help, this seems to be keeping Woody Woodpecker off my roof.
will never buy again
