About Me Casual Cook
Comments about Oven Guard- 12- Non Stick:
These are great for those dishes I almost always spill - like quiche and custardy pies. But they are FABULOUS for berry and fruit pies which almost have to bubble out to be properly done. I spent many wasted hours scrubbing that shiny, black, sugar-burn on the bottom of my oven. The hole in the middle ensures a perfectly-baked bottom crust. What a time and trouble saver! I bought five as gifts when I got my second one.

I have not used this particular piece yet, but my mother had one of these for years. It was always used when she baked pies - YUM! Hers was tin and eventually did rust. I have been looking for one of my own for quite a long time. This is obviously much better quality than mom's and I know it will get alot of use.

Every kitchen should have an Oven Guard. Great for catching the grease from spring form pans and apple pie overflow. Makes a great extra gift. Miles Kimball is the only place where you can find them.

This is a really great invention, it keeps the pie spills off the bottom of the oven. If you bake pies, this is really a must.

To bake pies and cassaroles, and also I use it to cool cakes, cookie sheets. And I have served brownies and cookies on it for coffee clatch.
