My first purchase of the Splatter Shield was non stick. It did not rust when cleaned in dishwasher. This Splatter Shield lasted a very long time but finally fell apart. I ordered another one and it was non-stick and rusted when cleaned in dishwasher. This item did not last half as long as the original one. I then ordered two of the Splatter Shields. The one I am using now is already rusting at the edges.

I use this splatter shield as a wind shield for my outdoor camping stove and have done so for many years. It also works well in our travel trailer when we have the windows open. I have given them to many campers with wonderful comments and thanks.

Have used them for years and it cuts on the cleaning the top of the entire stove to once p/week. Just clean the immediate area. We change them at least once p/year.
I would buy this product again.

I had one years ago but misplaced it.I had been looking for one to help with the splatters on the stove while cooking. So far I've used it once and love it.

I just ordered 3 of these on January 7, 2012, forfor my daughter-in-law, my granddaughter, and formyself, but then after I ordered them, then you put them ON SALE for $2 less than I paid. You probably knew you were going to do that, so you should have given me the Sale price. I could have saved $6.00. However, I am very pleased withthis product, as it does indeed shield and protectmy backsplash. I have heard from daughter-in-lawand she, too, likes the shield. This was my first time to orderfrom Miles Kimball.
It saves a lot of cleanup

This splatter shield works just fine. It's a bit flimsy, but does the job. I had one years ago that was SO much sturdier, but someone made it for me. So for what this is made for, it does a good job of keeping cleanup from skillet spatters to a minimum and I'm glad I bought it.

Great ideas for outdoor grills

My brother-in-law uses his for the stove. But I use mine for my grill. I have a side burner on my propane grill and this helps keep the wind from blowing the flame out.

Stovetop spatter shield

When frying I surround pan with it. When finished cooking, there is still some grease spatter, but only near the burner and on the spatter shield. You still haveto wipe the shield. This is my 2nd one and I really recommend it.
