I love these boots and have been using them for years. They fit easily over my shoes, fold flat, and are very light weight. I always have a second pair under the seat in my car for those sudden downpours. They've even been to Europe!

Though not meant to be worn over shoes, I wear these boots over my sneakers when walking my dog in sloppy weather -- rain and snow both. Regular boots allow water to seep in ... not these! I can step in all the puddles I want, and walk in several inches of snow with no worry about wet feet. You do need to use care in pulling them over your shoes, because they can tear. But if you just use care, they last a very long time. I love them! And, in fact, am ordering more today.

I purchased this boot to use in my mini orchard. There are lots of stickers there and a good sole is needed. Needless to say, because of the extremely thin sole, I never used them and was forced to return them to your company.

Though I can see how helpful these can be in the yard, they are most helpful to me because I volunteer at an animal rescue located on an equestrian ranch with much outdoor work and walking through mud and manure and sometimes doggie doo. With these handy cover-ups, I can walk all over without having to watch where I am stepping! That allows me to focus on the cats and dogs. I LOVE these !

These are so handy to slip on to go out watering flowers on a dewy morning or running the trash cart to the curb. Lightweight and flexible, they're easy to handle and fit in a tote bag to take along just in case. If you expected something heavy-duty, you should expect to pay heavy-duty. The boots really came in handy when I had gout and couldn't wear shoes! I used insoles from athletic shoes to reinforce the bottoms and had plenty of room to accomodate my poor swollen joints.

My mother (85 years old) wanted gardening boots. I searched at every store in the area and only found very heavy, cumbersome boots. I finally started googling, found Miles Kimball and ordered these light weight, comfy galoshes. My mother is happy - I am happy.

I'm so glad to learn that Miles Kimball still sells these soft rubber overshoes! Yep, I admit it, I'm old enough to remember the squeaky rubber galoshes we used to pull over our Buster Browns on rainy days. These work essentially the same way, but look more like boots. If you can get past the Peter Pan/Robin Hood look of the green color, they work a treat. The catalog description was clearly written by someone who hasn't a clue as to their actual use, which explains the negative reviews. Think of them as thick (ish) rubber gloves for your shoes. They're cheap so buy 2 pairs in case you tear one. As long as they are intact you can wade through puddles and stay nice and dry. Even slightly torn they are pretty good in damp grass. You can wear your most comfortable shoes and have warm, dry feet in rain and wet garden conditions. They are generously sized to fit over shoes, but if you wear wide-soled athletic shoes as I do, you might want to size up a bit. I've even used them with socks alone for quick trips in the back yard. Just be careful on rough pavement or decks with nail heads that aren't well-sunk, and don't stick your fingers through them while pulling them over your shoes.

A note to Miles Kimball: If you could get these in black I'd even wear them to go places in wet weather. Beats coming home from the grocery store in soggy sneakers!
