About Me Midrange Shopper
The wind direction and wind speed are useless. It would take a tornado to move them. I got it for the rain guage and themometer so I'm okay, just a little ticked off that the other parts don't work. I would not recommend this to a friend unless, like me, he only wanted the bottom half.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend
I will not buy this product again
from Rocky Mount, NC
The weather vane was poorly constructed. The pieces which hold the thermometer and rain gauage were not tight. Moisture is already in the thermometer. This is the second weather vane purchased by me. My first was purchased 15 years ago and I needed to replace it because I enjoy knowing the temperature and the amount of rain. I will be surprised if this one lasts 15 years.

We were disapointed with the quality and it wasn't easy to assemble.
Well worth the money
from Pittsburgh, PA
Mounted on my deck railing, very attractive, needs better assembly instructions.
cheepley made not happy with mine.

from D.C. suburbs
I bought one of these several years back, and it was much stronger and solidly made. The pole was a thicker metal; this one can't stand up to strong winds without waving back and forth. As others note, the pieces don't fit together very easily or securely. If you attach one of the cardinal direction arms (E/W/N/S), another falls out. Sadly, it used to be a better product...

not very sturdy, falls apart and blows away, doesn't spin in wind, my husband had to glue the sections of the stake that holds it up together!!
OK! About what I expected. It works.

Not tall enough. Should be about 18 inches taller. Otherwise it is OK.

Was disappointed in quality
from Terre Haute, In.
Great to measure rainfall but wind vane won't move (too tight of a fit), anemometer doesn't move very easily either. I was disappointed
