Comments about Sink Protector:
I've had both the large and small sink protectors for years. The large one fits perfectly in my sink, but the small one that I just purchased seems to be smaller than previous ones. It slides in the stainless sink and tips if a pot or container isn't placed in the center of the protector. I would like one that's an inch or two larger -- otherwise, I wouldn't be without these protectors.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

My Hubby LOVES this!!!

About Me Avid Cook
We have a double sink in our apartment. We keep a small dishpan in one side. Previously, we had "draining mats" that we used under it, but we were constantly cleaning the "slime" that would accumulate on it. No matter what we cleaned it with, we were doing the same thing in just a couple of days. With this sink protector, it raises the dishpan off the bottom of the sink and lets air circulate around it. NO MORE SLIME in our sink!!! Thank you!!!
Does it's job

Fits perfectly in sink. Easy to get strainer out to empty without removing sink protector.
SMALL PROFILE FITS GREAT

I've tried many sink strainers, and this was the best one to fit on the right side of my small stainless double sink. It would be nice if it had suction cups, as if you put a heavy dish on top to drain, you have to center it, or else the drainer tilts up and makes everything fall.

I use the protectors in my sink to not only protect the sink, but to keep valuable and delicate glassware from being chipped or broken.

Right size. Fits regular sized sinks. Looks good and protects scratches in my sink. Love it!!

I use this in my double sink on the left side. That's what I call the "dirty" side. The right is for the drainer/clean dishes. I've always had one in my sink as did my mother before me. The newer ones the stores offer trap food and/or particles leaving the sink a mess. It keeps things from sticking to the sink or in some cases rusting. I love it and the fact I can throw it in the dishwasher now and then is nice. I like being able to do that. Price quite reasonable as well.
Found at last
I have always used this type of sink protector, but could no longer find it in stores. They had a similar item, but things collected in it and/or didn't rinse away. It was too flat. This sink protector is raised and cleans up easy in the dishwasher when necessary. Keeps things from banging around in the sink, and a reasonable price from Miles Kimball. Thrilled to have found it. Looks nice too.
Pleased with quality of product.

About Me Casual Do-It-Yourselfer
I'm ordering our 3rd sink protector for the kitchen. The previous two lasted for over 2 years each. I wash them in the dishwasher from time to time on the bottom rack, standing up along the left wall of the dishwasher (just make certain it doesn't prevent rotating dishwasher components from moving.)
