Worked well to widen tight fitting toes

Comments about Shoe Stretcher:
This shoe stretcher works. Because so many parts are plastic you MUST watch what you are doing as you stretch the shoe. Too Much Pressure will make plastic crack. But if you are careful this product will work for you. My daughter was in a wedding and the bride selected the shoes. The shop did not have a sample in my daughters size, so they had her try on a similar shoe in her size they ordered her the brides' selection in my daughters size. When the shoe came in it was TOO tight across the small toe and the lower part of the great toe and shoes are not returnable. I ordered your shoe stretcher. When it arrived I inserted it into my daughters shoe and left it there for a day or so. The next time my daughter tried the shoes on, they were a perfect fit. I then tried the stretcher on my shoes for the wedding as they were tight across the top of my foot. The next day I slipped my foot right in my shoes. Wish I had purchased a pair of these stretchers years ago!

About Me Need Wide Width Shoes
I need wide width shoes, & can't always get them. Even when I can, dress shoes need to be just a little wider. I used these on my 7W dress heels that were just a little too narrow, & now they're perfect!
These are great

I was a skeptic but these actually work. I bought two pairs of shoes, the same style - different colors. both too tight to wear. stretched one pair as described in the easy to follow instructions and the difference was significant. I may need to stretch them to times for ultimate comfort....

cheap plastic component

bullet shape small plastic spreader at widest part of device (toe/arch area) broke at second use.If it was metal, it would last a lot longer.I would spend a lot more money for a better quality item.

Worthless--cheap plastic part breaks
These shoe stretchers are designed well mechanically, and would function beautifully except the manufacturer decided to cut costs by switching out one little steel piece for one of very poor quality plastic. This small piece has to withstand many pounds of pressure holding the main shaft in place while the user cranks the spreader down into the toe. Mine broke the first time I used them.
