About Me Casual Cook
Comments about Microwave Potato Baker:
We had trouble twice when we used the baking stand to bake 2 potatoes at one time. Both times the plastic device fell over with our potatoes still on the spikes. The potatoes did bake in less time than when we just used a paper plate to set them on.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

Potatoes fall over when cooking. Plastic stand is too weak to stand up for only two potatoes.

I wish I would have bought this product sooner. It makes perfect baked potatoes and folds up for easy storage. I definitely will buy one for my daughter.

About Me Avid Cook
Several years ago, I owned a potato baker that looked just like this picture. The difference is that it was of a rigid plastic, and the prongs had enough of a point to skewer a raw potato. THIS ONE is too flimsy to support the weight of a potato, and placing the potatoes on the skewers is dangerous; you have to use such force to get it started that you run the risk of skewering your hand.
NOT SA GOOD PRODUCT.
