Finally got it right! Great filter.

This is a drop in sink strainer/catcher that works very well. We have a Cavalier and she sheds continuously. We shampoo the carpets (white) every month and then clean the carpet cleaner which is all her hair. I have seen other sink strainers that are all out of shape and dull and dingy. This new one is shiny, fits the sink just right, and is easy to clean.

We had purchased a pair of drain screens from a large chain, but within weeks it was getting rusty and messing up our sink. This present item, since it is stainless steel, has no such problems. It also seems to hold up very well.
Bought this product before and came back for more

About Me Avid Cook
Fits the drain perfectly and strains all refuse.
Handy & helpful...
Handy strainer in kitchen sink...With a septic tank, it helps keep loose foods particles & small items from going down the drain. These seem to be better designed than others I've had where the mesh strainer separated from the cover...So far,so good.

This simple strainer saves a plumber's bill! The small particles off dirty plates, pots, etc., were often clogging my sink. This screen keeps them out of the pipes and it is then easy for me to toss the glunk into the trash. The only downside is the strainer can move around some when the sink is full of water but knowing that beforehand you can reseat it if necessary before a problem arises.
