Not worth the money

About Me Midrange Shopper
Comments about Hose Stand With Spigot:
This is the first time I have had a problem with an item from here. The first spigot came with the wrong parts. I called and they sent me another one which took almost a month to get. Some of those parts were bent so I used some of the parts from the first box to get it all together. They don't make the screw holes round for the screws to go in easily so you have to work at it.I think it should be a little sturdier but it is doing alright for now.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

I would not purchase again- it doesn't even support weight of a low grade hose, it just falls over..
from East Rochester, NY
This product is very flimsy. It does not go into the ground enough to stand alone with hose on it. Save your money.

DO NOT BUY THIS
from Somerdale, NJ
I returned this product, [...] READ THE OTHER REVIEWS and pay attention. You cannot use this product without getting adapters. There is NO piece of hose that goes from the house wall spigot to the unit. Good luck finding a small piece of hose for that. It is a joke. DO NOT BUY THIS.
Great idea, but . .

I was so excited to find this product, but when it arrived I found that my hoses would not connect to the spigot. I took it to the hardware store where I was told it was a plumbers fitting and I had to buy two connectors to turn it into a hose fitting. I'm going to mount it beside a heavier iron hose stand so it will hold my hose. It might hold a small hose or one of those coil hoses, but it won't hold a regular hose. It still serves it's purpose, but requires too much extra tweeking.

DON'T BUY THIS ITEM!!!
from Idaho Falls, Idaho
Item requires an adapter; Advertising indicated you could hook a hose to both ends; but you cannot , it requires an adapter; plus item is so flimsey that it bends under the support of a hoseand the attempts to push the staked end into the ground!!!!
No way to connect a hose to inlet.

Where do you get a female connector for the water inlet? It is too small to use a hose end repair.
Serious Spigot Problem
from Columbus, OH
The female threaded connector to which you need to attach an incoming hose is not a standard size, unlike the outgoing connector. This device therefore requires a hose coming from the house spigot that has a standard female connector (to hook up to the house spigot) and a smaller-than-standard female connector to hook up to the remote spigot. The catalog neither states this nor sells such an unusual hose. What were they thinking?
Merchant response: Due to customer feedback on the spigot problem, we have addressed this issue with the vendor and the issue is now fixed.
