Great little gadget
from West Chester, OH
This is a terrific little gadget. This is better than having the hose falling off of the pipe and it keeps it off of the ground. I wish I would have found this long before I had 2 hoses crack and split. It's large enough to hold a long hose and it allows any water left in the hose to drip out.

This is perfect to store any type of garden hose.No screws necessary. I have a brick house and couldn'tfind anything to hold my hose and didn't want to drillthrough brick. This couldn't be simpler. It's heavy duty plastic. Nothing like this available in stores.

Not worth it

About Me Midrange Shopper
I bought two and both broke, they are plastic, the idea is good they just need to be made of metal instead of plastic
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend
Works fine for the money
This is really a great product for the price. Easy to install and does what it should do. I see many comments on how many feet of hose it will hold. This just depends on how far your spiket is from the ground. I had no problem fitting 75 feet of hose.

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED
There was nothing at all to do but place the item on the faust!
NOT A FIT:
from Newark OH
Obviously this is an outdated style [*] which is not adaptable to more than one style faucet knob.If only the knob opening were larger and wider (if only it had a 5 to 6 inch width oval cut for the faucet) then it would work on more than just one style faucet. It didn't work on my sytle, plus it costs more to return it than the refund. It would have been a fit for many outdoor faucet styles had it been more universally designed. I live in a newer condominium it would have been a good item for the other 43 units to own...as we are not allowed to fasten a hose reel to the siding. BUMMER!
Perfect Tool for a New House
By John D.
from Gulfport, MS
Having purchased a brand new home, I did not want to "install" a holder for the hoses. The metal ones rust, the plastic ones are usually cheap and breakdown under constant sunlight, and I did NOT want to drill holes in my new house. This item fits the bill perfectly. When needed, take them out of the drawer inside the house, hang on the outside faucet, and curl the hoses on them. When done, drain and put the hoses away and put the holders back into the drawer inside. EASY! Next year, repeat the process.
This is a very handy item.
This item is big enough to accommodate a 50 foot hose.
You Get What You Pay For

This does not hold 75 feet of hose. I have a 50 foot hose and it doesn't stay on. It's more of a pain than it's worth. I'd send back but it's cheaper just to throw them (I bought 2) away [...]. I'm just saying -- remember, you get what you pay for. Worth it to spend more.
