About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about Dissolve-A-Way® Food Labels:
I started labeling things in the freezer after accidently sending spaghetti sauce instead of chili in my husband's lunch. Spent years scrubbing glue residue off lids until I found these. Use for everything I freeze in plastic containers. They wash right off in warm or hot water or in the dishwasher. They are expensive, but I think it's worth it. I freeze a lot of foods for taking with us in our camper while on vacation or extended trips.

These labels allows you to identify the contents and the date on the outside of reusable containers. Then clean the container for the next use.
For forgetful people

I usually forget the date that I put items in my refrigerator and I am afraid to use many left overs or coldcuts. Now I put the name and date of everything I put the in refrig. I am able to see at a glance what I can use. I rarely throw anything out now. It has cut down on my food bill. I love them. I bought some for my sister.

I like to cook extra and freeze for later. These are so handy for labeling the foods and dissolve away quickly in water with no sticky residue.
Works as promised.

We use these for freezer labels. They eliminate mystery containers.

These are terrific
These are best on storage containers for the refrigerator. (I have not tried them in the freezer and usually use labeled Food Saver vacuum bags there.) As long as the lid is dry, these peel-off labels stick well and can be written on with a Sharpie marker. I use air-tight snap-lock containers for everything, and these are perfect labels for contents and date on the top of each. Now when my husband is going through the cartons of leftovers, he knows what is there. The labels disappear entirely in the dishwasher, or I can wash them off by scrubbing lightly in warm running water in the sink. They can also be peeled off and transferred to another container, at least soon after writing the label. At 10 bucks a roll, they are expensive, but they are completely worth it. I'm here to reorder two more rolls.
WISH I HAD ORDERED SOONER!
THESE ARE GREAT FOR LEFTOVERS. I CAN DATE AND ID WHAT IS IN THE DISH. DON'T HAVE NEARLY AS MANY FORGOTTEN LEFTOVER AS I USED TO. WISH I HAD FOUND THESE SOONER.
I will buy this product again & again

We use this to label leftovers so we know how long something has been in the fridge. If it's still there come trash day, out it goes. And clean up is a breeze! A little dishsoap, hot water - bam, it's gone in the blink of an eye! And no sticky residue either! It's great for the freezer, too! We put a label on everything that goes in the freezer with the date we purchased the item. That way, if we end up with more than one of the same item, we know which one to use first. Same with the pantry. Nothing goes in unless it has a label on it.
