Comments about Disc Shaped Pet ID Tag:
Miles Kimble, our pets are family, please buy a deep engraver if you want to offer such an item. I bought two of these and after a month I am getting rid of them for a deeply engraved dog tag that will last for years not weeks. I am very disapointed. I think of your items as being quality. It is not worth the time or the effort to return, but I would hate for someone to lose their pet and expect it's safe return based on this product. I had to write.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

Won't Use, but it's not worth returning

The graving was so shallow on the tag that it wasn't readable. If the engraving had been highlighted with another color, like black, it would have been better. We had to get another one.
Good product but metal fairly thin!
Required for safety of your pet!!
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

The first order was for 18 of these. All our horses, dogs and cats got one. This was a re-order to replace a few that had been damaged since my first order. I had an older dog that was deaf, and he would run away if weather got bad and I was not home to put him up. Several times a neighbor has found him because of this tag, and called me so I could bring him back home.Cost is less expensive than pet stores. All my animals have one. I even put them on my horse halters so in case of storms/theft my horses and pets may be able to have a way to come home.I also added them to my key rings in case I lose any of them. Keys are so expensive to replace when lost, not to mention the worry and time. Now I may get a phone call so I can get them back as quickly as possible.I ordered with pets name, my mobile number, address and/or Deaf Dog. The tag is not deeply etched, but they still remain readable after 3 years. Just be sure to put a rabies tag to the back of the name tag so the rabies tag does not rub against the engraved side of the pet tag. This would prevent engraving from becoming unreadable.
i really like them

After moving, I re-purchased these from Miles Kimball. I am just as satisfied with the product as I was the first time.

I got the little mouse for our newly adopted Siamese but thought it was so cute, I turned it into a charm on my silver bracelet--after all, she owns ME and not the other way around!

Even tho my dog has a microchip, it is good to have handy info if the finder is not close to a vet to identify.
