Comments about Chippendale Planter:
The planter is being used instead of items being put into the soil. The planter is located next to a/c units and makes a nice picture.

Great Plant in a Pot Holder
By Weekend Gardener
from New Jersey
About Me Avid Gardener
Does snap together without tools, but not that easily. The directions are only pictures and not that clear. I bought 2 planters. The 1st took well over an hour to put together. The 2nd about half that time. I doubt you can take it apart at the end of the season. It is NOT closed on bottom which I assumed it was, so you can not plant flowers just in potting soil without putting something on the bottom. I put cardboard covered with a plastic bag. We wil see how it does.Beautiful looking planter. I would still buy it again but would suggest making bottom solid.

Classy Addition to the Landscape
By Elaine from the South
About Me Master Gardener
These Chippendale planters are a very classy addition to any landscape. They look very well at the front door as well as in the garden. The styling is very clean and neat and provides that added detail to any decorative arrangement of plantings.

Love, love, love these planters
from Kent Island, Maryland
These planters look perfect on my front porch. I had bought these for my Sister years ago and was sorry I too hadn't purchased a few for myself. They resemble the traditional "Williamsburg" planter boxes, yet a lot less expensive. Easy to assemble and clean.
Everything I hoped for
It arrived in pieces and was together in minutes. I taped a plastic bag to the bottom so the mulch would not fall out the large openings. I love it!
Bought one liked it so I bought a second
I use the Chippendale Planters in front of my house. They look really good with the wicker furniture I have on my porch. I had a hard time assembling the first one, but I got the hang of it by the second one. The "instructions" did not help much. There were no words, only pictures.

Bought two for my back porch so I have something attractive to look at. I inserted a ten inch pot of mums inside for a neat, clean look.
difficult to assemble

Upon opening the box, it looked like a snap to put these together. That's how you assmble these planters by snapping them together. What a horror!!!It was VERY difficult and cumbersome. It took a long time and I was afraid that I was breaking it.I finally got the planter assembled but it's not a "perfect" fit.The top hides the problem.I actually spray painted the planter flat black to mimic a much more expensive planter.I tried satin black at first but it showed the plastic flaws. The flat black top coat was much more forgiving.Must say that it does look great.Wish these were also made in black.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend
I would certainly buy this product again
