Comments about Bubble Lights:
I had these kind of lights growing up back 60 yrs ago. We bought 2 sets in addition to the 3 sets we bought to give 1 set to each of our sons.

They look great! I surround my basement with the bubble lights and will leave them up all year for parties, decoration and fun.Until I asked that they be checked before sending, an average of 1.5 of seven bulbs to a strand didn't light. In the last four sets I purchased they all responded. Endurance remains to be seen. The company replaced those that we not functional.
pretty but disappointing
I was so excited to see these cause they are hard to find. They remind me of when I was a kid.I was disappointed because all three sets were messed up. In two of the sets, two lights didn't have any liguid. In the other set one light was only half way full. I've read a lot of the reviews and a lot of people said the same thing. It's a shame they're not made better.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Budget Shopper
I love the bubble lights, however, I've gotten 3 strands and each time they have come with 2 lights where the fluid has gone out. Poorly packaged?
These are wonderfully nostalgic Christmas lights. However, getting them shipped safely is a problem. I ordered two strands. One was fine, the other had a bulb w/o fluid. I called and was told that I could just throw away the strand and a new one would be sent...and it was immediately shipped. The rep said this often happens in shipping. Another one was sent, but also had light w/o fluid and another that wouldn't light. I believe part of the problem is HOW they are shipped. They were in their original boxes inside a large box with just a sheet of brown paper. They need to be sent in bubble wrap and/or other protective material. We enjoy the lights greatly and are pleased with the product as well as Miles Kimball's quick remedy to the matter.
Bubble Lights a Bust: seem poorly made

12 of 28 lights didn't respond. Good idea and great appearance if all worked. In one strand none lighted. Even the ones that lit, however, were inconsistent in the speed of the bubbles.

Bubble lights, not
from Westland, Michigan USA
Those are not bubble lights. There are silver flecks that move up and down in the liquid to appear as bubbles. Back in 1950 we had real bulbs that would actually bubble, these are phony.
I would buy these again
I should have bought more. Memories of my childhood days. Brought back a lot of memories.

Took 3 shipments to get a string of lights that weren't faulty. The first and second set had a few lights that didn't have any liquid. Prompt replacements were very much appreciated.

Not what I had hoped for.
from Creve Coeur, MO
I was looking forward to having memories from my childhood. Sadly, 2 of the glass tips broke off before I could even hang them on the tree even though I was extremely careful! The company was kind enough to send me another set only to find that one of the bulbs on the string does not bubble. I really wanted it to work out!
